Food Program
Mission
Our mission is to advocate for and implement sustainable food systems that prioritize equity, accessibility, and social responsibility. We are committed to collaborating with communities, organizations, and policymakers to eliminate hunger, reduce food insecurity, and ensure that nutritious and affordable food is accessible to all, while promoting the ethical stewardship of the planet’s resources.
Vision
We envision a world where every living being is entitled to exist in an environment founded on the values of sharing, compassion, and mutual care. We strive to create a society in which all individuals have consistent access to nutritious and affordable food, ensuring that no one is left hungry.
About the Program
Through our Education Support Program, we identified that many children lack access to sufficient and nutritious food due to the financial challenges faced by their families.
Recognizing this as a critical issue, our organization has made food support an essential initiative.
To address this need, several initiatives have been introduced under the Food Program, including:
- Ayini 01 – 2026 BKTMV – Breakfast initiative for students.
- Ayini 02 – 2026 BKTMV – Nutritious refreshments for students attending the after-school Education Support Program.
- Unavaemarunthu (உணவேமருந்து ) – Workshops that promote awareness of healthy eating among parents and teachers.
